The Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) Pricing Transparency Guide aims to support SHIP Coordinators and their hospitals in navigating the Price Transparency Rule of November 15, 2019. The Final Rule was published in the November 27, 2019 Federal Register and requires hospitals operating in the United States to provide clear, accessible pricing information online about the items and services they provide in two ways.

In this SHIP Technical Assistance (TA) Webinar, Amy Tepp, CPA and Partner, Eide Bailly LLP, presented the Pricing Transparency Guide, resources, and templates for the Guide that was published on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. The intended audience was State Office of Rural Health Directors, SHIP Coordinators/other key SHIP personnel, and SHIP – TA and FORHP staff.
