Part 3- Planning 101: Maximize your limited communications budget

Speaker: Mike Milligan, President of Legato Healthcare

How do I know what to communicate? What’s most important depends on who you ask, or sometimes who speaks the loudest. But deciding how to invest limited resources shouldn’t be left to chance; it should be based on a logical approach to planning. And how do you know what works best? Newspaper, radio, direct mail, digital? The answer is: it depends…

This webinar will outline a communications process for you to model or adapt for your organization. Its tenets are based on establishing goals that align with your strategic plan, and that are based on a service line prioritization that weighs many factors including: image, revenue, competition, capacity, etc. We’ll also address ways to specifically measure the effectiveness of your communication efforts.

Objectives:

  • Review the communications planning process and who to engage in this effort
  • Form measurable business and communications goals
  • Decide what services warrant focus and which don’t
  • Learn how to measure the effectiveness of your communications efforts
