New Rurally Relevant EMS Quality Measures

National Rural Health Resource Center

The purpose of this event was to inform Flex Grantees about new rurally relevant EMS quality measures that resulted from a Flex-funded EMS supplement project. This event was supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) and coordinated by TASC, a program of the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center).

Upon participating in this event, participants were able to:

  • Recognize the National EMS Quality Alliance (NEMSQA) and the work that they do to promote a culture of quality improvement
  • Recall the development process for EMS quality measures
  • Summarize a Flex-funded project that contributed to the creation of new rural relevant EMS measures
  • Understand ways Flex Programs could use NEMSQA EMS measures
