Core Competency: Strengthening Quality Reporting and Improvement
The New York Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Performance Network helps maintain and improve MBQIP (Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project) scores. Throughout the year, virtual and in-person meetings are held where best practices are discussed and networking among peers occurs. A listserv is available for network members to use at any time to ask for assistance/recommendations. They can also begin discussion with other hospitals.
What is one activity your state is funding through SHIP?
New York is funding the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) with the SHIP grant.
