RHC Performance Measurement and Quality Improvement

01:00 PM
Registration Deadline
Thursday, August 25, 2022

There are many terms that are used in reference to improving clinical and non-clinical outcomes in a health care facility. Quality improvement, continuous quality improvement (CQI), quality assessment, quality assurance, and performance improvement are just a few. Regardless of the term used, in today's health care landscape, primary care practice's quality-related activities are imperative to achieve the Triple Aim:

  1. Improve the health of the population;
  2. Enhance patient experiences and outcomes; and
  3. Reduce the cost of care.

RHCs are not exempt from the impact of national efforts to create a high-value health care system, despite no implicit program requirement from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in the Conditions of Participation for RHCs. This one-hour webinar will explore performance measurement and quality improvement within an RHC setting with practical application tips to ensure forward momentum toward value.

Speaker: Tammy Norville, NOSORH

By attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe current RHC requirements from the RHC Conditions of Participation related to performance measurement and quality improvement
  • Define the relationship between quality and payment for primary care providers and gain an understanding of the national initiatives currently in place and how they impact RHCs
  • Identify activities to consider when developing and administering program evaluation and other performance measurement and quality improvement programs

This event qualifies for one ACHE qualified education credit.

Content is tailored to guide SRH and certified RHCs not currently participating in VBC to prepare for and position their organizations to be effective participants in a health system focused on value. Live HELP Webinars events are intended for qualifying SRH and certified RHCs; eligibility requirements apply to attend the event live.
